Verderflex Peristaltic Hose Pumps supplied by All Pumps Supplies are designed to operate under the tough conditions of mining processes.
Some of the major reasons why Verderflex peristaltic hose pumps are suitable for mining are:
- In the mining processes usually the slurries are pumped that have often contains sub-micron solid contents in excess of 80% by weight and have slurry specific gravities (SGs) above 2.0. These slurries are highly abrasive, but since Verderflex peristaltic hose pumps have inner rubber coating, they can easily sustain the friction of the slurry.
- Further, the peristaltic hose pumps have the ability to clear-off the thickener blockages that may occur due to pumping of slurries or highly viscous fluids.
- The peristaltic hose pumps offer very smooth flow to the fluids and there is no opportunity for the products to settle down as the peristaltic action keeps the product in suspension.
- Verderflex hose pumps are available in the sizes from 5mm (3/16“) to 125mm (5”).
- They are designed to maximise hose life by optimizing the hose’s fatigue strength.
- Hoses are available in Natural Rubber (NR) for general slurries, Nitrile Buna Rubber (NBR) for Crud, EPDM for activators and Hypalon® for cruds involving solvents.
- Color coding of the hoses is done for easier identification by the operators and to avoid confusions.
- The world’s largest high pressure hose pump is Verderflex VF125. It has internal diameter of 125mm or 5inch and offers the slurry flow rates in excess of 60m3/hour. This allows the designing of larger high SG thickeners, which helps in maximizing the output of the plants.
All Pumps Supplies is the Australian and New Zealand importer for Verderflex Peristaltic Hose Pumps.
